Kathryn just moved from her home in New York, New York, to a cottage in Middle-of-Nowhere, Alberta, Canada. At first, she is as lonely as ever, and on her first day of school, she just wants to keep a low-profile. But a few people won't let that happen. Kathryn not only makes a few friends, and develops a huge crush on one of them, but they become friends for life. What happens when one of them is in a car accident and their father threatens to take them back to where they were born; England? And what will happen to Kathryn if they do move back?
