In an alternate Los Angeles where Alphas, Betas, and Omegas live and work side by side, Firefighter Evan "Buck" Buckley has spent his entire life fighting the expectations placed on him as an Omega. Strong, stubborn, and fiercely loyal, he refuses to be defined by biology. But when his long-simmering bond with Alpha Eddie Diaz ignites into something neither of them can deny, everything changes. An unexpected pregnancy forces them to confront their fears, their past wounds, and the fragile hope of building a family together. Through blazing rescues, whispered confessions, late-night anxieties, and soft, stolen moments, Buck and Eddie discover that love isn't about instinct-it's about choice. This is a story about devotion, vulnerability, and carrying the flame for each other when the world tries to put it out.

Years after a quiet, unresolved fallout, Evan Buckley returns to Los Angeles and transfers back to the firehouse without telling anyone-especially Eddie Diaz. Eddie, who has finally begun seeing someone new, discovers Buck's return mid-shift when the bay doors open and Buck walks in like no time has passed at all. The tension is immediate and suffocating. They don't speak, don't acknowledge each other, and barely function around one another for the rest of the shift. When Buck finally works up the nerve to talk to Eddie afterward, he realizes Eddie isn't alone-he's with another man. The realization hits hard: Buck may have come back too late. Instead of running again, Buck stays. As he reintegrates into the firehouse, he slowly works his way back into Eddie's orbit-through shared calls, familiar banter, and the undeniable pull that never really went away. Buck begins trying to win Eddie back, not with grand gestures, but with consistency and honesty, determined this time to finally confess the feelings he's been carrying for years-even if it means risking everything.

Summary: Buck and Eddie go to the firefighter Olympics in Nashville where they are confronted by the best firefighters in the country, some challenges and their feelings. Context: The story starts right after season 9 episode 6, except Bobby is still alive because I want him to be alive. No one wants Bobby dead thank you. The dynamic of the 118 is still rough, but it's due to Hen's illness. I do not own any of the characters mentionned in this story. They are character of the TV Show 9-1-1 on ABC.
