Arsen was the captain of his own pirate ship and crew of men. Knowing how to be serious and when to joke around with the crew, he was still separated from them. There was something different about him that set him apart from the rest, which was why he did not get close to any of them except the few that wormed their ways under his skin. As he saw it, everyone dies at one point, and he was the one that brings them where they are supposed to go after death. But one day, his crew landed on an island, where everything changes. Now, he needs to make sure his crew survives and try to refuse the temptation of an amazon beauty that would forever have his dreams. Karena was the daughter of the leader of the werecats. Cringing at the idea of being the next leader, she didn't wish to be tied down to the island anymore than she had to. Not like she could ever leave anyways. Besides all that, she was struggling with containing the beast within her that threatens to take away her humanity. Because of a curse that was cast over a century ago, she fears falling in love. One day, a ship found its way to the island, and the group of women now needed to find a way to coexist with the men on board and keep their numbers alive. Out of all the men, there was one that stood out the most which was their arrogant captain who appeared to be harboring a secret even his own crew didn't know about. Despite the secret that sparked fear in her, his presence sent chills down her spine and made her heart skip a beat. Separately, they were two individuals with a lot on their shoulders. But together? They may be a force to be reckoned with. To be able to do the impossible, both sides needed to get along with each other. But the question was: could they get the others to follow with their ideals and stand up for them? Could Arsen and Karena finally allow each other into their hearts or would they feel content in being alone?
