After the sleepover, both boys realize their true feelings about each other, but while Tyler accepts it, Troye is in utter denial, not wanting to ruin what they already have. Fifteen year old Troye Sivan Mellet thought August 7th, 2010 was going to be a normal day. He really did. But then by chance, when inside a strip-mall elevator that breaks down, he comes across the one and only Tyler Oakley, whom Troye had been watching on YouTube for a while, now, along with many others to gain the courage to come out to his parents. The two boys talk and Tyler gives Troye some advice, and later that day, Troye finally tells his parents what he's suspected for a while now. The two boys think that they'll never meet in person again, though they both knew they'd probably remember that fateful day years from then. But what happens when three years later, when Troye goes to Playlist Live as a small-time YouTuber, gets trapped in a hotel elevator with that same man from all those years ago, whom Troye had grown attached to over the years for reasons from social media to personal experience. Not to mention that Tyler now sees that young boy as a very attractive man now.
