Dr Abhimanyu Birla is being considered to become the CEO of Birla Hospital but his anger issues and his playboy ways are posing a problem for him. He's at the fear of losing his position to his cousin, Dr Parth Birla who is the poster boy for the ideal son, husband, and father. Akshara Goenka needs money, desperately. Akshara and Abhimanyu Birla are married (arranged) for a year now and so are Neil and Nimisha. Akshara is doing her PhD but nobody knows she is Mrs Birla. Everybody knows her by her maiden name in the university. Abhimanyu and Akshara have a cordial Relation not even friendly. They are ok with each other and not developed the bond as such.
