Maura is still the Chief Medical Examiner and Jane works with her. Jane has a few secrets that only her family knows because she's afraid of the outcome. So, she keeps it to herself. Something happens one day, and it changes theirs and everyone else's lives forever. Detectives Olivia Benson, Nick Amaro, Amanda Rollins, Odafin Tutuola, and Lieutenant John Munch are her partners with SVU. Lieutenant Detective Vince Korsak and Detective Barry Frost are her partners for the Homicide Unit. Sean Cavanaugh is the Chief of Police. Jane's identical twin sister Lindsay and younger brother Frankie Jr. are also Homicide Detectives and her partners. Cindy Thomas is a crime reporter for the Boston Herald Newspaper. Maura is too scared to tell anyone what is happenings to her, because she doesn't want it to get worse. Will Jane be able to save Jacob and Maura from her living nightmare.
