With her mom dead and her dad missing, she grows increasingly wreckless and finding herself in more trouble, something her guardian isn't proud of. Among these wreckless acts she meets a boy with enticing brown eyes and a voice that seems to pull her closer. They both find out they have a lot more in common and when he needs helps, Scar doesn't know whether she can trust him and his friends. He changes her perspective on life and acts as a purpose for her life to continue, and she opens his eyes to the cruel world going on around them that he's been turning away from.
