**MAJOR EDITS ON CHAPTERS IN PROGRESS**
First, it stopped with the flashlight signals at night, and then with blowing off our plans. It didn't become apparent that I was losing my best friend until it was too late. Before I could confront him about what was going on, he'd already gotten a new group of friends and started to ignore me.
