Lea and Hunter were childhood friends but when they got to high school they stopped talking to each other. At a party, Lea was in danger and Hunter was there to rescue her. After that, they rekindled their friendship and turned it to something more than that afterwards. When they could finally be together something happens to Hunter....... Lea moves to another place to get away from all that's happening and meets a new guy. She tries to build a wall to protect herself from falling for him and getting hurt, but in the end her wall was climbed by the guy and she fell deeply for him.

Kiya and Kaleel are 17 year old twins and there mom moves them from ATL to Detroit to be with there father that they barely know. There dad is like a king pin in the streets of the D and Kaleel gets caught up in the drug game. Kiya has to help her brother and make sure her family stays together though all of this and find her inner thug, but does this mean killing her father as well. It seems like everyone around them is dying but Ki and Leel have to stick together more then ever to get though this new life in Detroit and stay alive.
