Amelia has an addiction. She has an addiction to her best friend, but also drugs and alcohol. She had used them as her coping mechanism when her father died. Not straight away but not long after. Kai and Amelia had grown up together. They were now starting college together, an exciting time for both of them. However it isn't that easy. Kai has an abusive father and Amelia is fighting her addiction. They have each other though, and that's how they get through the terrifying times in college.
