(Soulmate/Omegaverse AU) (WARNING: Spoilers from the manga/anime) In this world, everyone is born with three things. A tattoo that relates to their soulmate, their soulmates first and last initials, and a second gender such as alpha, beta, and omega. Alphas are of the highest class, tending to assert dominance and leadership. They have ruts every now and then, though they can be prevented through platonic or romantic interactions such as cuddling and hugging. Betas are the second class, but also the most common. They're just the average person, nothing much. There are some rarer betas who fall into something of a middle class between beta and alpha where they act as dominant as alphas but are still considered beta since they lack ruts. Finally, omegas. Being the lowest rankings, they are often seen as kind and endearing, motherly and gentle, submissive. Omegas go into heat every month, giving off a scent specific to each one of them alone, with each of them fainting until their pleasures have been fulfilled. Heats can be prevented or lessened through a mate's or an alpha's item or through suppressants, though they tend to have a negative side effect. Tattoos correlate to your soulmate's interests, but their initials also appear as a tattoo above or under the tattoo. Kageyama Tobio, who many assumed would present as an alpha, presented as an omega. But it's not just that, he's one of the only omegas ever to thrive in the sports world, and the very first omega to ever be invited to the all Japan National Camp. There, he rooms with Miya Atsumu, who soon finds out they're soulmates. Atsumu had taken an interest in the young omega, similarly to the other participants, but this made this far more interesting.
