I'd never been very outgoing or social. Being homeschooled and sheltered from the rest of society your whole life does that to a kid. It had always been just the water and I. Swimming brought me peace and comfort like nothing else. I was comfortable in my solitude. Then I met Nyx and she wrecked my whole damn world.
