But they were too late. Tanjirous family was murdered in cold blood leaving only his sister nezuko behind. Tanjiro was a deity who lives at the summits of the mountains of Mt. Tagarumo, Tanuki deity's were hunted by demon slayers for power, though there is always a price to pay. They say the whole mountain is his own territory, those who sets foot on his territory or trespassed without offerings will have misfortune that lasts for a whole year, those who do will be gifted a year of good luck though only pure-hearted people can receive this kind gift. A tanuki statue which hold a plate is seen at the sides of the torii gate at the front of the mountain. A Tanuki can live a 1000 years, this boy was just born a few years ago he's just at the age of 16. --------------------------------------------------- Zenitsu, Inosuke and all the Pillars are assigned to check Mt. Tagarumo.

[ discontinued ] Tanjiro went to sell charcoal for family and came late because he also help some people. A man offers tanjiro to stay the night but tanjiro smells a strange smell from home. Tanjiro goes home fast and finds a man who calls him self " muzan kibutsuji " The man tells tanjiro to become his Oni in order to save his family. Tanjiro accepts and becomes a demon What will happen to tanjiro next?
