2 years have passed since Amity last saw Luz. Even though she didn't expect to see Luz ever again her feelings for the human girl never changed. The butterflies in her stomach kept flying when she thought about her crush. But just when she was about to loose the last spark of hope something changed on the Boiling Isles. Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly.
