A continuation of a story I wrote that was previously a oneshot: Over time, Josie has realized she likes Hope. After Hope saves Josie from herself, those feelings only grow stronger. Josie has to deal with them as well as the outcome of her own actions, but during a school dance, everything changes. **I do not own the characters, nor do I own the photos used in the cover.

Hope Mikaelson has always been a hero -- the mighty Tribrid protecting the Salvatore Boarding School. But we know heroes suffer most of all. When the Necromancer, newly charged with black magic and Malivore as his puppet, wages war on the Salvatore School, Hope activates her vampire side. Now a fully woken Tribrid, she must come to terms with the eternity facing her and fight the darkness boiling under her skin without pushing those she loves away. There may be only one person who can keep her from becoming the villain of the story.

When Rafael says he likes his brother's ex (Hope and Landon broke up in this), Josie's jealousy flares, making her realize that she still has a crush on Hope and might even be in love with her. When Lizzie asks how her sister feels about the tribrid, Jo discovers that she feels so many things with her, but without her she feels rather "Hope"less (pun very much intended)... Originally supposed to be a one-shot but once I hit about 5k words I realized that wasn't going to happen so now at 14k it's divided into chapters :)
