He is dying of leprosy. Knowing he could be cast out of society forever, and knowing even if he remained king, he would suffer much and die young, King Baldwin IV determines to rule to the best of his ability although he often faces impossible odds with his inexperience and illness, but he refuses to give up. This is a collection of poetry and short stories based on the real life of King Baldwin IV.
