Luke Hemmings is sick. He is really sick. He was born with a heart mistake. When he turns 17 he needs a new heart. Without it he has only 3 more months to live. And he tries to make the last 3 months of his life the best time ever.

Luke Hemmings was taken into foster care after his mother decided enough was enough. Enough of the bullying, of the fights, of the attitude, enough of her boyfriend abusing him because of being gay. Just enough. They'd drove for hours until they finally reached Perth. There Luke was taken into a home of a husband and wife and three other boys who were like him. They get along fine, but Luke gets along with one boy better than the rest. Will this make his current situation worse, or better?
