The feeling of the sun, shining on my clear skin almost was enough to make my heart skip a beat.
Is that wrong?
Of course not! We're not all robots. We don't all connect those feelings to a certain kind of love . . . I'm talking love love. Love as in, being in love with another human being.
See, me, I was in love with something, not someone. . . That something was the sand, sea, and surf. Not to mention a couple of poles with a volleyball net spread between them and a nice ball.
However, soon my whole life was going to change. The game I never knew, the game I was so unfamiliar with, was turning on me in every way, shape, and form : leaving me left with the remnants of a broken, and confused heart.
