Before the rise of Calamity Ganon, Princess Zelda of Hyrule was appointed to travel across the lands. She was to learn about the technologies of the ancient civilizations before her kingdom rose and speak to the leaders of each nation. And along the way, she must bring her trusty friend and guard, Link. But as they travel, with nobody else around to talk to, they grow to find an affection for each other that's deeper than a friendship. But how, in a world governed by politics and potential war, could they find a way to stay together?

Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! More pressure is added with the recurring topic of duties especially when Zelda finally let's loose of the kings standards and expectations-- especially when spending time with Link... who somehow has more in common with her than she thinks, despite him not saying a word. He remains a mystery to her. A mystery she hoped to solve as she slowly gets closer to him. °•○•○●° But as they open up and spend more time together, will the initial clash develop into Romance? Or will this be unacceptable since boundaries certainly exist-- especially with the rising expectation of marriage for Zelda. And more importantly- will he ever talk? When Zelda tries out for the role of Juliet in the school's Romeo and Juliet, she finds that a large number of girls deign to be Juliet. But when Link, Zelda's crush, lands the role of Romeo, Zelda is stuck as a side character. Link is why so many girls -a few guys too, of course- joined the theatre club this year.
