This theme is accomplished by the fact the term blindness is a umbrella term for severe visual impairment - so don't worry you can still see Anakin's gorgeous face, this idea just helps to build depth in the beginning. She had just learnt she was the daughter of the most evil and powerful being in the galaxy, her best friend was in fact her brother and that she was capable of the exact same power they both held.
