And within that quaint little town she meets a woman who is anything but- Regina Mills. OUAT. Swanqueen. Written for the timeframe of season 2 ish. From your perspective.

Regina Mills has a miserable life. Her mother killed the love of her life, married her off to the king, and now, at only 17, she had to be a mother, wife, and Queen. As Snow White gets older, the king is persistent on wanting Regina to give him a son, so his daughter could marry for love and not have to settle for someone she didn't want or worry about the heavy weight of ruling a kingdom. But what happens if someone offers her a way out? !! TRIGGER WARNING !! this story will have dark themes such as: mentions/thoughts of Suicide, self-harm, rape, sexual assault, and more. there won't be chapter by chapter warnings. if you can't handle any of these things, this story is not for you
