One such city is Night City located in the free state of Northern California, it was once the gold standard for the nations cities but when gang after gang decided to call it home, crime became the norm. Cybernetically enhanced criminals roamed the streets so often that the whole city was used to it, after all there was only three paths in Night City, you either worked till you died, be lucky enough to be born a corp or you broke the rules and made your life your own.
