What if...Nick went to Gatsby? What if...Nick saves Gatsby's life? What if...Nick gets shot? In this story Nick saves Gatsby by taking the bullet for him. Wilson gets arrested before he had the chance of shooting again, and now Nick is in the hospital in a coma. Gatsby stays by his side and with all this time he has a lot to think about. One question haunting in particular, why did he save him? Gatsby's internal struggle is hard, as he has to deal with reality by himself. "Nick...wake up. I'm scared..."
