Shuichi Saihara, a young high school boy, transfers to a new school where he meets Kokichi Ouma, a smart, quiet kid who often just gives a cold shoulder to anyone he doesn't care about. Shuichi can't help but feel attracted to this small boy, unlocking a new... scarier... side of him he didn't even know existed. It seems like everything possible goes wrong, but in just the right way. What will happen if Shuichi's emotions get out of control? What secrets about his classmates will be revealed? Shuichi Saihara and the rest of his old classmates had been trapped in the killing game for a few weeks. Most of them decided to warm up and get to know each other so it would be harder for people to kill each other since they had warmed up and gotten close. But sadly a goth unemotional boy didn't really want to warm up since he had pretty much forgotten his childhood and got confused on why do they need him to warm up. But sadly they never knew about his disorder

Soon enough, Amane starts to have feelings for her. Meanwhile, Hanako tries to find Yashiro wherever she is. He hopes that she wouldn't meet his human self. Although Yashiro wants to go back, she finds life with Amane really interesting and wants to stay with him. But she knows that her ghost friend will be worried about her. Will Hanako find her? After getting into a fight with one and other, Kokichi and Shuichi were forced to live together. Little did they know, this punishment given to them would be the best thing that ever happened to them.

When the survivors of the 53rd season of Danganronpa wake up to find that the game was all virtual reality, and that all of their friends are still alive, they all face many different challenges. For Shuichi Saihara, most of these challenges involve a certain Kokichi Ouma, who he finds lounging on the couch in the apartment they shared together before the game. Turns out their past selves were childhood friends who eventually fell in love and had been in a rather serious relationship before joining the game. Will Kokichi's lingering crush on the detective and their slowly returning memories of the past become the downfall of their newfound friendship, or will it spark something more? This fic was heavily inspired by the fic "Second Chances" on AO3 by Lethargic_Lilac. It's a really good read and I highly recommend it. I hope you'll all enjoy my own personal take on the idea.
