Cruz has been having trouble at her races. And it's because of one car: Jackson Storm. Cruz realizes she is afraid of him because of what he did to her at the Florida 500. But she won't tell anyone about her problem, not even her crew chief, Lightning McQueen, who is worried about her performance during recent races. Instead, Cruz sets out to solve the conflict between her and her rival alone. But Jackson's not going to make it easy. Cruz will need to overcome her fears and make things right, as well as learn to accept the help of others, or she won't be known as the Queen of the East anymore.
