Simon and Baz are back for their second year at Uni durring the Covid pandemic. They're stuck quarantining together for the next 14 days, and Simon is loosing his mind. This was originally going to just be a chapter in my smut book, but It ended up getting really long, and it's not really kinky enough to have its place in my ones shots book.

The Watford Tragedy tore Baz's family apart. His father refused to send Baz to the place that had killed his mother, so Baz was forced to stay home and learn from a plethora of tutors. When he asked his father if he could go to university in London, he had hardly expected his father to say yes, but he did. So Baz packed his things and moved to the city, eager to be around people his age and to learn from real professors in actual classrooms instead of his family's stuffy library. The only problem with this whole thing (besides the fact that he's a vampire) is his roommate: Simon Snow. His roommate who he has managed to fall deeply, helplessly in love with. Simon Snow hadn't really planned on going to university. After graduating from Watford, he planned on staying with the Mage so he could continue to go on quests and fight the Humdrum. But the Mage sent him off to university in London so Simon could "stay close to the language." Unfortunately, Simon was paired with the most insufferable git for a roommate: Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch. Neither of them know that the other is mage so they are constantly hiding from each other. But Simon is pretty sure that his roommate is a vampire or has some other dark secret because his side of the room is always too clean, he never eats, and he constantly vanishes in the middle of the night. Baz is pretty sure that his roommate is hiding something from him, that he's in some weird drug or fighting ring, perhaps, because he disappears for days on end, is constantly bruised and bleeding, and leaves the room every time Baz tries to pick a fight.
