Cori Hikari was ORDINARY.
Like, genuinely ordinary. Not in the fake-humble way where someone secretly has twelve black belts and a tragic origin story. Just a sarcastic, background-blending cadet at the Galaxy Garrison. Quiet. Dry-witted. Entirely unremarkable. That was the plan, anyway.
And then the universe threw a UFO at her.
Literally. As it does. because NOTHING can EVER go according to plan.
One crash, a lot of chaos, and suddenly Cori and her extremely underqualified team are being dragged into an intergalactic war. Then the legendary lions of Voltron show up-and for reasons no one can explain, they choose her team. Not her, of course. Obviously not.
Questionably qualified? Absolutely.
Unprepared? Hilariously so.
But fate keeps looping back to her.
Still, she's just ordinary. Nothing to see here. Probably.
It's not like the universe has a habit of singling her out. That would be absurd.
Totally absurd.
Unless-maybe-it wasn't.
Maybe she's not as forgettable as she let people think.
Maybe being "ordinary" was just the best cover story in the quiznacking galaxy.
But hey, that's probably nothing.
No need to look too closely.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
