Reece averted her eyes to the wall, shoving her hands in her pocket. She sucked in a breath. A thousand thoughts, if not millions, raced through her head. Rezzy was facing the window, she sat there with her legs crossed...her left hand was fidgeting violently while the other was gripping a tablets container. She slowly squeezed the container, the lid popped off flying to the other side of the room. I curiously looked at her. Her hair looked so soft, her hair didn't have much curls like mine it was mended together creating an afro. I always imagined running my hands through it. Taking my hands out my pockets, I slowly opened the door further making a creaking sound. I slipped in through the little space I created, going further into the room. I heard her whisper words that I couldn't quite make up. I stopped exactly behind her, placing my hand on her shoulder so I could pull her around. I lightly pulled her shoulder, I looked down at her forearm and what I saw literally shattered me. Placing my other hand on my mouth, trying to compress my gasp. A tear slipped out. Rushing to the drawer, I scrambled around looking for bandages. Rushing back to Rezzy, I tried taking her arm to stop the bleeding. She pulled it back, still looking straight ahead. I looked at her quizzically, " Give me your hand so I can help you." I said softly but sternly. She stopped mumbling and looked my direction and not out the window. She looked at me, a tear slipped out and is was like a punch in my stomach. "Why do you care?" She spat out.
