Will Solace, son of Apollo [the sun god] often feels as if he is alone. He feels as though there is no one out there for him and everyone he knows secretly dislikes him. After one particularly rough day, Will decides that he can no longer take all of the hate and teasing that he goes through on a daily basis. Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades [god of the underworld] is a quiet boy that likes to keep to himself. After his sister passed away many years ago, his life has taken a dark turn, leaving Nico to only see the bad things in his life. Nico has very few friends, a half sister that he loves dearly, and a crush on one of his only friends. Wow, super sucky story description!! Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? With Nico di Angelo as Will Solace's prisoner for three days in the infirmary, Nico has to quickly adjust to all the attention he gets from Will, along with the rest of the camp. Nico has to deal with other people's problems, especially when he doesn't want to. He has to quickly learn how to build relationships with other campers from the ground up, and even though Nico is banned from using his 'Underworldy' powers, he's still a demigod, and danger and adventure are always at his heels, even at camp!
