Bradley and Alex always had tension, but what happens, when this turns into something more... [I do not own any of the characters]

This fanfiction is based on the promotional trailer for The Morning Show Season 2, which airs on September 17, 2021. Cory Ellison and Bradley Jackson, along with many other characters, appear to have conflicting interests and motives driving them farther apart. Cory and Bradley are a new favorite duo of mine. With the tension between the characters in the trailer, and with Billy Crudup taking a lead role in a new series, I worry what this might mean for Cory and Bradley's romantic potential, so I've decided to bring them together before the new season shows otherwise. Please keep in mind that I've made certain inferences based on the season 2 trailer that may not be accurate to the series, but I hope they are true to the characters.

This story takes place after the finale episode of season 1. What will happen to the show? Or more important, what will happen to the people that work there? Mitch is trying everything he can to make his way back to the show. Alex is dealing with her own problems, she no longer owns America. Bradley is still unsure about the future, it might even be written for her and what happens when Cory replaces Fred? *I don't own any of the characters. I'm only using them for this story.

Alex decides to confess her love to Bradley after becoming one of her best friends. The two go on a friendly date and things get heated when Alex confesses her love to Bradley.
