Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Edit- 06/02/21 this was one of the first things I tried to properly write, it isn't that great but it does show how much I've improved and I find that cool now that I've gotten over most of my embarrassment about it. (Also I'm not editing anything this thing is beyond saving anyway-)

Pain and sorrow, loss and regret. It's all he knew Smacks, screams and sobs. His father hurt him, and his mother never knew. He was afraid, and scared, and his father would always threaten him if he dared to tell anyone. He was starved, beaten, abused, horribly.. His friends, Remus and Janus were the only good thing he had in his life, aside from his mother. The only good moments he ever had were when his dad was off at the bar getting drunk. His life changes when he bumps into some new friends on the bus. When Roman goes too far in an argument, Virgil returns to the Dark Sides. Instead of being ridiculed and hated like he expected, he was welcomed with open arms and his return was celebrated throughout the Dark Mindscape. However, Roman isn't done with Virgil and has his mind set on getting the Emo back. When Roman continues to be unsympathetic to everyone, a certain Light Side switched to join his fellow misunderstood shadowlings.
