His whole family thought him deaf because he had never said a word and unlike any of his true family he had maroon eyes and at least his father and sibling thought he had green hair but they rarely payed attention to him because he was deaf and he always clung to his mother for some reason, and to top it all off he was quirkless. One Izuku Midoriya grew up thinking he didn't have a powerful quirk. The doctor said he had one, but he'd never found out what it was. On the day of his entrance exam to the greatest hero university in the country, he finds out what his prehistoric quirk is. How will his life change at this revelation?

Izuku is born with a quirk called "Verbatim" which allows him to retain other quirks, unlike Monoma who only can use them for a short amount of time. He obtains a smoke quirk from an incident and starts his journey to become a hero! (Izujirou is the main pairing, and Izuku will get other powers later on).
