This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. Back in the Beginning when Chaos created the universe down of her creations started to gain consciousness, The Earth gained Gaea, the Night turned into Nyx, and so forth, she was the mother to her creations and their children. Nyx always was beloved to be the eldest of the primordial beings - minus her mother of course - but that wasn't true. A being was formed from the space around her, her first child, her first son. And Varian was cursed by Zhan Tiri since he was four or five years old. What would happened if Vigor the Visionary monkey (Demanitus) meets the heroes in the caravan before The Spire? Will Varian be free from the curse of Zhan Tiri? What will Eugene choose thru-out the adventure? His young brother, Varian the alchemist?
