Maya's world isn't going as she planned. She's not doing well in school, her dad left her when she was little, her mom is never home and when she is, she hits and abuses Maya. On top of school, maya has to work two jobs just to earn enough money to get food. Even though it isn't going well, she's managing to survive with the help of her three best friends. Will maya end up ok, or will she end up and broken as her mom?
