When Towa was 4, she woke up in an unfamiliar place with no memory of how she'd gotten there. Back in the feudal era, a suspicious fire destroys Inuyasha's village as well as a nearby forest. After getting his immediate family and friends to safety, he heads into the burning forest itself to save his nieces who have been missing since the disappearance of their mother, but he only finds Setsuna. 10 years later, a mysterious event near the Bone Eater's well may signal the re-opening of the portal between worlds, but why now? Surely there's a catch right? Whatever darkness is coming, threatens to twist time itself. As the border between past and future gets thinner and thinner, all their lives along with the fate of both worlds hang in the balance.

Many years have passed since I last saw the feudal era, I was still a child at that time. For some reason I was never able to return to see that world, I was locked out and had to leave my friends behind. One day a portal opened up near my home in a forest. This story takes place in between the events of Yashahime, and after Inuyasha.

I've changed the title because when I first began to write this, I wasn't planning on it having 200 something reads, but so far, its been great! The Darkest Fear didn't suit it as much.

Lily Stone is a shy girl who always wanted a normal life. Her friend, Kagome, would always sneak off and will be no where. Lily decides to follow her one day and falls down the hole. She meets Sesshomaru and decides to let her tag along. Naraku gets word of this and decides to make her his.

A mainly brotherly story of what might have happened had Sesshoumaru taken responsibility for his brother's life from the beginning. Uses Live Journal Community quotes as prompts for many of the chapters.
