When Arlo Mills moves to a new town, he's hoping for a quiet, low-profile life. Struggling with anxiety and being mute, even simple daily tasks can feel overwhelming. He certainly doesn't expect that a seemingly insignificant moment-an awkward encounter in a store aisle-will shift the course of his life entirely. What starts as a chance meeting soon leads Arlo straight into the Wolf's den. Calix Wolf is a name known across the country. A powerful, successful figure in the kink community, he owns an empire of clubs and businesses, and carries a reputation as a dominant, no-nonsense man who always gets what he wants. Gruff and commanding, Calix isn't expecting the soft, trembling young man who can barely meet his eyes and can't speak a word. But something about Arlo draws him in-and Calix is not the type to let go of something that catches his interest. Is the Wolf's den truly a place of danger... or could it become a sanctuary for someone who only wants to disappear? After all, what's a little mouse to do when he finds unexpected safety in the arms of a wolf? Hockey is all I have to keep my scholarship at Kingsley College. I can't afford any missteps. And I risk losing everything. Blake is the king of the campus, an arrogant rich boy I've hated since day one. But a forced reconciliation program obliges us to do the unthinkable: spend entire days together and pretend to be friends in front of the coach. The harder I try to stay away from him, the more he breaks down my walls. And on the ice, you know, a single second of distraction can cost you your career.

"Sooner or later, you'll fall for me, too." Theodore bursts into laughter. "I don't know where your confidence is coming from." Jacob chuckles and says, "I just know." And then it catches Theodore off guard when Jacob adds, "We should be making out right now." Theodore swallows and looks him in the eye. "We should." "And I should be undressing you at this very moment," he continues, "We could stay up all night with our hands on each other and just... forget everything." ****** Meet Jacob and Theodore, the polar opposites within a tight-knit circle of the most esteemed members of society. Jacob, reserved and hard to read, isn't exactly Theodore's biggest fan-unlike everyone else, who's head over heels for the golden boy.
