Not only does he get paid, but he basically lives there for free. Jamie offers him all his clothes, and free time to do whatever he wants. Under one condition, not only does Joe have to work as his housemaid, but he MUST follow ALL THE RULES. And I mean all of them. Even Rule #101: No falling in love. Well, shouldn't be that hard, right? At least that's what Joe thought.
