Could Wednesday break out of her shell to be close enough to Enid to help her? And, did Enid share the same feelings as Wednesday?

Jane and Max met in university and developed a genuine friendship until it led to something more. As it was their first time having feelings for someone it freaked them out, not knowing how to manage their situationship.
