"Hello?" I asked, my voice groggy from sleep. "Do you want to have phone sex?" a deep, sexy voice said at the other end of the line. "W-what?!" I bolted upright, pulling the sheet over me. "Who's this?" "I said, do you want to have phone sex and you have to guess who this is" he said, and then I knew. Seventeen-year old Leona Goodman is a normal teenager, who is awkward, shy and not to mention of being the only girl in her school for being a virgin. Add the Casanova Henry Phillips, the famous bad boy in Eastview high, famous for taking [every] girl's virginity. Both are from different worlds, until they were put together as partners to look after an egg. An egg that they must look after if they both want to pass their last year of high school, or risk it and start the same year again. Emma is a professional clown. Which is just perfect, because she thinks she's falling in love with a guy who never smiles. Emma is willing to do anything to change Jesse's life to make him happy. Except, Jesse already has a family and too many dark secrets to count. Can the girl with the happy soul change the guy with the battered one? Nobody knows, but she's sure as hell going to try. (This is a short novella centered around Jesse from Pretty Bad Things. None of the characters from PBT will be mentioned (except maybe Harvey!), therefor you don't have to read PBT to enjoy Jesse's Girl)

May Fredericks hates New York. Which is fair enough, since New York seems to hate her back. Just weeks after moving from Wisconsin to Manhattan, she receives the world's worst marriage proposal, stabs her boyfriend with a shrimp fork in a very public venue, and accidentally becomes notorious. And that’s before she gets mugged. At her wit's end, May washes up at a Packers bar in Greenwich Village, where she meets a surly, unhelpful guy who hates her shoes and calls her ex a douche. His name is Ben. He used to be a chef. Now he's a rooftop beekeeper with anger management issues. She wouldn't even like him, but he reminds her of home … and he knows where to find all the best food in the Village. She makes him laugh. He buys her tacos and cowboy boots. The longer they’re stuck together, the better May and Ben get along … and the harder they fall. TRULY is a quirky, modern New York love story unlike any you've read before. ********* About the Serialization TRULY, the first novel in Ruthie Knox’s forthcoming New York Series, will be serialized in its entirety on Wattpad. "S-sorry?" I choked out, rapidly paling. Its amazing how three words can affect someone so badly. He's GOT to be kidding me. Its just... impossible. I refuse to believe it. He didn't say that. He couldn't have. He wouldn't. "We are partners," he repeated in his sarcastically slow voice. He did. ------------------------------------- Crissane's plan for senior year: 1. Study 2. Avoid the male population at all costs 3. Get that scholarship While everybody saw her as the friendless freak, nobody knew her passion. Cooking. When she walked through the doors of Pristine High for her final year, she expected it to be full of cooking and avoiding people, like always. Besides, she needed to focus on getting that scholarship that she'd been dreaming of for years. Problem. She ended up being paired up with someone. Not too big of a deal, until she learns HE'S clueless in the kitchen. If he could tell apart kitchen utensils, she did not know. Who knew that she'd been brewing herself a pot of disaster? If only she'd known that there was more to that quiet kid that nobody knew, she could've avoided all that drama that year and continued her life as a loser. She wouldn't let this stop her. So much for sticking to the plan. She HAD to get the scholarship. Besides... things change for the better, right?

"Give me ten days, and I can give you ten reasons not to die." Evan paused. "And if I can't change your mind by then, you can go jump off that cliff."
