About a rather unusual lesson in history class.

A lawless city controlled by teenaged hoverboard crews, a bad boy addicted to strawberry milk and a group of misfits who band together to conquer an area formally known as unconquerable. These are just a few of the discombobulating situations Sahara faces when she's accidentally transported to a world not her own. While this shy teenager would rather curl up with a book, she finds herself with no choice but to lead a hoverboarding crew of her own and aim for the top. Failure is not an option. That is if she ever wants to find a way to return home.

The Falcons are ready to go, and they want it all. Sahara finds herself with more than she bargained for when her crew's bluff calls on the unwanted attention of boarders throughout the city - inlcuding the Omegas. As secrets are revealed and new paths are discovered, Sahara can't help but remember Terrell's constant warning: Don't trust anyone. But does that include him?

Given the chance to return to Regona, Sahara takes it. Times, however, have changed. Lithium City has stumbled across Regona and has taken it upon itself to restore the fallen to its former glory. The crews in Regona aren't quite on board. Mysterious disappearances are followed by a threat of a rebellion from the hoverboarders. The leader of the Falcons is willing to sit still...until it becomes personal. As Sahara and the Falcons race to save one of their own, they face a storm of unimaginable consequences.

MINDSLIP is the catastrophe which hits the Earth at 8.15am GMT next Wednesday morning. It began six hundred and fifty years earlier when Betelgeuse fulfilled its long-held prophecy to turn supernova. The radiation, gamma rays and gravitational waves hit the Earth at the same time as a coronal mass ejection. The combined bombardment causes all creatures on the Earth to swap minds, leaving people in animals, animals in people, men in women and children in adults. The nightmare which follows becomes a social and economic catastrophe. Geoffrey Arnold becomes a key figure in the government catastrophe committee, formed to resolve the myriad issues raised by MINDSLIP. Power generation, the health service, farming, pay, pensions, education, the banking system and asset ownership spiral into chaos. In addition, Geoffrey must save his wife from an imminent premature death brought on by one of the MINDSLIP effects. MINDSLIP is a realistic, frightening and sometimes amusing work of imagination which explores how people and families react to the world being changed beyond recognition. It is a common practice that when one Alpha challengers another, the defeated wolf can either be banished into exile from the pack lands or be put to death if he or she refuses to go. Braydon Winters father, couldn't bring himself to leave the lands where his mate was buried and so once the fight was lost - welcomed the chance to be returned to her side. When the old Alpha was defeated, his now orphaned son became burdened with the same decision to make; stay and die or run. He ran. Angry and hurt his Father would leave him to fend for himself, scared and alone with no pack to take care of him - Braydon kept running until his wolf told him to stop and slowly his new life began. Problem with that was, sooner or later, life was bound to catch up with Braydon, but when it does will the human within the wolf costume be able to handle it? To those on the outside, May Winters appears to be nothing more than a completely normal seventeen year old. She has a loving mother, an overprotective father and not forgetting her annoying, big brother. Struggling to finish high school, more time is spent organizing her social life and breaking the rules put down by her parents. Totally normal right? Wrong. Adam and Brook have now been able to settle in with their new pack, and are ready for a new challenge. They had been selected to host The Academy at their pack. It is the Werewolf and other shifter's most prestigious school. Mostly they train future leaders for the groups, but also do have a program for helping others be the best they can be.
