The Egg was a short story originally written by Andy Weir. However, this will be the Wings of Fire version of it- the dragon version of it. Don't ask me why I'm doing this, it's just for fun. (And for writing practice.) If you're bored, and looking for something insightful to read, this is the book for you.

And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. Of the three newly added Winglets, she's enrolled in Opal, and is relieved to know she isn't the only peculiar one in it. But before they know it, Artemis and her friends are faced with a prophecy, and a dark secret. New continents, new tribes, new enemies. They face the biggest threat to Pyhrria since the end of the war. Gold, silver, sun and moon, the scales have tipped. This is the story of Artemis.
