~o0o~ Book 3 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book two: "A Name to Remember") Two years after the Barrier was destroyed, it's a dark and stormy night. A group of friends; six monsters, one human, and one flower, celebrate the anniversary of the monsters' freedom. Everything starts off with a seemingly innocent question: "What does the thunder remind you of?" But the answer only leads to more questions. Questions born of curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat. And it's a hard learned lesson that Determination can't always bring everything back.

~o0o~ Book 2 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book three: "No One is Happy with This") Ah. Hello there. You are here in search of a story? ... I could tell you a story of a family, reunited once more, living on the surface world. But such a story has not come to pass, nor do I know how such a story would come to pass. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you the story of how I came to be here, stuck in the black depths of nothingness. But, I have the distinct sense that this story has already been told, by hands not my own. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you a forgotten story. A story of a name long gone, a time erased eternities ago. ... Yes, this one, I think, is the story I will tell. For the name that was once my own, the name that has been lost to the Void, that is a name to remember. Dr. WD Gaster is a Name to Remember.

~o0o~ Book 1 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book two: "A Name to Remember") (Book three: "No One is Happy with This") There was a time where a Royal Scientist got an idea. A time where he created two weapons, who turned out to be people. A time where he built a machine to power the Underground. There was a time when the timelines weren't messed up by a certain flower, and then a certain child. There was a time before. ~o0o~ Wattpad Featured Story on 4/28/17 - on the OLD featured list ~o0o~

For shop girl Evin, alchemy is an understood part of life. She learned how to brew superior potions at a young age and can't imagine her life without the use of Alertness, For General Pain, and Menstrual Cramp Cure. Though already apprenticed to a local master alchemist, she can't help feeling that there might be more for her to achieve. In a different part of the continent, Master Bricot teaches alchemy at the University of Craestor and is working feverishly at his residency project--translating the sacred document The Facerum--when a student of his approaches him seeking help on an unprecedented issue. And south of Craestor in Daitak Capital, the Seat of the World, Emperor Regent Bryn Beynon can't stand potions or those who make and sell them, believing their use, especially martially, to be barbaric and cruel. His first act when coming of age will be to begin imposing legal strictures on the use and sale of such items. Out in the Wilds of Tief, Craix, who travels alone, has never been safe. Not since she was born. Forever trying to evade her pursuers, she travels across the country, constantly intercepting important messages. And over all people in the realm of Heladrith, a pantheon of powerful gods sits in judgement and benevolence, silent for centuries--but not for much longer. Potent is an original, third-person omniscient, past-tense, low fantasy tale with an ensemble cast of approximately eight characters of different genders, orientations, colors, and classes. --Seeking beta readers for this manuscript!
