He picked me up and held me in his arms. I tried to break free, but his grip was too tight. I did what I had to do. I elbowed him in the gut. He dropped me as he cried in pain. I fell to the ground, but jumped right back up, and ran. I turned the corner, reaching big gates. Two more boys were chasing me, wearing black hoods, masks, and dressing in complete black. I ran up and over the gates, thinking I got them. They ran over the gate too, catching up to my speed. I ran faster, but was stopped by another man. I almost ran into him, and stopped. I turned around, ready to run, and bumped into another man’s chest. The two boys who were previously chasing me caught up. Following behind them, the one I elbowed in the gut. I turned around, looking for help. They were surrounding me in a circle. “HELP!” I screamed.

I instantly turned around and began breathing a bit heavily. I could see my breath in the dark and cold air. “W-Who’s there?” I asked. “Perrie!” God dammit, I heard it again! I swear to you, I’m not going crazy. I turned back around and almost began walking back to home until I saw something or someone run at me. “No!” I screamed. I began running in my flats as the back of my heel rubbed against the edge, probably causing thousands of blisters. “Get away from me!” I pleaded, continuing to run. I turned the corner and took off my shoes. I turned and began running backwards, holding my shoes in my hand. As they appeared, I threw one of my shoes at them. “Ow!” I heard them yell, causing me to feel victory. I ran around to the park exit, knowing I’m free. I turned the corner onto my street and saw another person running at me. “What the hell?” I asked, turning around to see the person I threw my shoe at running at me as well.
