After a fight with a group of villains, Bakugo and Midoriya are both hit by a quirk that seems to cause amnesia. With no memories, the class and UA staff are left to watch in slight horror as the two boys become the best of friends (and something possibly more) without any of their past holding them back. Bakugo swears in this lol

Kirishima sends Midoriya to study with Bakugou in place of the rest of the Bakusquad, who received detention. However, his little scheme works a bit too well, reconnecting childhood friends with past dreams of being a hero duo. Completed! They end up talking about Izuku's current situation and Kaminari offers a solution. Fake dating. Izuku hesitantly agrees, just wanting to put a stop, or at least an obstacle, to all the relentless flirting and harassment. What happens when it stops feeling fake? Especially when Kaminari seems to be keeping more secrets than he can afford. "Why don't you just fake-date someone?" Kaminari suggested. He was honestly just worried for the green haired boy's safety at this point. "But who would even agree to that?" He asked back. Kaminari thought for a moment. Then he shrugged and said, "I would."

Izuku was denied the one thing that he loved: being a hero. At age 11, he was told he couldn't be a hero by the #1 hero and his idol, All Might. He had almost took his life at that point, but Eraser Head found him and took him home. Eraser Head said Izuku could become a hero if he put the work into it, regardless if he had a quirk or not, and Izuku took those words to heart.
