Regulus took comfort in writing poetry, writing about his feelings towards a certain Gryffindor in a journal that he hid. Then he loses said journal and none other than James Potter finds it. Entranced by the poetry the journal holds he keeps it and slowly the two boys become closer through the mysterious forces of the universe. Will James ever find out that Regulus is the author of the poems? Will they end up together or just stay friends? Disclaimer: Voldemort does not exist in this universe.

When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff. Then, he turned and... was hit square between the eyes with a bludger. Now he's stuck in the hospital wing, and the bed next to his is occupied by none other than Regulus Black.

Set in an alternate world. AKA no magic ~~~ Walburga and Regulus have lived in America for three years. First moved from London due to Walburga's job. After three years Walburga is told to go back to London but Regulus doesn't want to leave and proposes Sirius comes to care for him in America. Walburga agrees and Sirius comes to America where he reunites with his old friends James, Peter, Lily, and Marlene. He also meets Regulus's new friend Remus Lupin who was a friend of James' after Sirius left.
