Each god gets a necklace when the turn the human equivalent of 13. This necklace has their soulmates name carved into it in runes. The other person has the same thing. Gods can have a god or a mortal as their soulmate. Y/n was kicked out of his home when he came out as gay and when the necklace appeared on him. Tony then adopted y/n as his son and he has been living in the avengers complex with them. Thor has convinced Loki to live there with them, even if he doesn't fight with them. As you got older you asked the Avengers to work with them being that no other job would take you with your 'gift'. So you know, this is a lot of dialogue. Sorry it's just the way I wrote this. And this book isn't great either. Sorry. I liked the idea I guess. You are 'stuck' babysitting Loki after a chance is given to him to change. It's takes a long time. But eventually you gain his trust and see his true side that Thor once saw when they were younger. (Sorry bad description.) And I don't think the book will be very long :/
