Dipper and Mabel are back for their annual summer trip and are ready for new adventures. Dipper, however, has been hiding some secrets he isn't too proud of and when he meets the triangular villain all over again, those secrets become even harder to keep. Not only is that hard enough on its own but it looks like that villain has some of his own. After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs. After everyone graduated, Class 1-A went in different directions. Some went very far from Tokyo and where they used to be, while some stayed in the area. Bakugou, Kirishima, Ashido, Sero, and Kaminari all went in the same directions, but went the furthest away from their home cities. They all lived as pro heroes and roommates in Fukuoka, enjoying their lives until a very special letter came to them. Receiving an invitation to Midoriya and Todoroki's wedding, they all decide to go there by car. Little did they know, they should have taken a train. The road trip was going to last more than thirteen hours! Well, that gave them time for bonding time, didn't it? With a trip full of music, idiotic conversations, honking and yelling, head banging, and AUX cords, they all set off to Chiba.
