Like "Zebra in a Bath", Bats in your nose is for kids who remember their dreams and to teach them not to be scared of them. Get them to write down their own dreams and make you own boo.

This kids picture book is known as a 'contradiction' book, where the pictures differ to that of the text. In a way that the text is the child's imagination and the illustrations are the actual events.

A friend of mine tried to find a picture book to read to her class about the three wise monkeys (hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil) but said she couldn't find one. This gave me a challenge. But instead of writing a story about a cheeky adventure, I thought I'd use it to show kids who may have one of these disabilities, or kids who know someone who has, to show them that they are still loved and special. If published, I would like to have the last paged printed in Braille.

Dreams can be a funny things but maybe scary for kids. Doesn't have to be.
