Shop Girl Diaries is now on sale for just 77p or 99 cents on the kindle! Enjoy! It is the book that began as a blog that also became a short film starring the hilarious Katy Wix (Miranda, Not Going Out). It's set in a world made up of shoppers, suitors and chandeliers. There's also a window cleaner that really gets on my nerves, a vomiting dog and a ridiculous amount of doughnuts. It's about lamps, love and a burning desire to become a writer. It also has some Salsa dancing thrown in it for good measure. The independent lighting shop is the co-star of the story, as mother and daughter try to close down but just can’t seem to manage it due to a loyal following of colourful and bizarre customers. For a taster, watch the film, which was recently shown at The London Short Film Festival. If you've ever worked in retail, or with the general public, I think you'll love it!

Spray Painted Bananas is a romantic comedy about Amber, a broke temp working in a catering firm in London, who after one too many evenings scrounging free wine from wacky art gallery openings with her best friend Farrell, decides there’s no reason she can’t become a conceptual artist herself. A chance meeting with the wealthy, young art curator, Elliott Frinton-Smith, sets things off in a desirable direction. Now all Amber needs is a brilliant idea to grab the attention of the nation. Spray Painted Bananas explores love and ambition with the touch of the absurd and plenty of bananas. It is OUT NOW published under the title THE TEMP by Harper Collins.

Meet Xavier. He's had a relatively lousy life. (Yeah, worse than your Picture Day.) His mom pays him no mind, his dad is dead, and everyone at school has abandoned him. Lonely and an outcast, he one day meets a man named Benjamin. Apparently, Xavier is to go on a trip around the world in search of three keys. They unlock a chest, which in turn contains a heart belonging to the most powerful sorcerer in the world. With that heart, the sorcerer will rise and kill all of humanity. And only Xavier can stop him. Why is this? Why should Xavier even care? Press that "Start Reading" button to answer all of those questions! (Yes, the fourth wall has been broken.)

When Lorris falls out of the sky and saves Eliza's life, before disappearing into the night, she's convinced he's the thing she's been waiting for her entire life: quite literally, the angel who will take her away from this boring, stifling life she has been living for so long. And it's not long before he has swept her up in a whirlwind of excitement and the previous tedium of her summer is long forgotten. But is Lorris all he claims to be? Is he really an angel, come to save her, or is he something else entirely?
