Technoblade had accepted what his lonely fate was to be. A warrior who sought out struggle and conflict where he could, a man of war and blood. No other path offered peace from the voices in his head that demanded blood wherever he was, whoever he met. He hadn't expected them to actually like someone. The first person in his life to stretch out a hand of peace and care, to look him in the face and smile in friendship. The first person Technoblade swore he'd protect, whatever the cost. Philza Minecraft had lived a life apart from most people for as long as he could remember. His years of life extended centuries beyond his own memories and in all that time, he'd kept himself at a distance from everyone else. Until he met a hybrid with a spirit and strength as fiery as he had ever experienced. And so Philza made his own promise. To let himself become attached. To give help and compassion to someone who was clearly starved of affection. And to build a friendship mightier than all the enemies they faced together. They promised they'd give each other the world.

The world of Minecraft has always been a dangerous place. Lava bubbles up from the earth or slowly crawls down rocky cliffs, pitfalls and caverns yawn in unexpected places in the earth, oceans stretch for miles and deserts scorch in the blazing sun. The mobs, however, are the greatest danger. They used to be peaceful, before the Players came. Strangers from lands no one understands, who think the whole world is a game. They kill, build, farm, dig and craft where they please, regardless of consequence or right. They slaughtered Endermen for their pearls, Creepers for their sparkpowder. They littered the earth with the bodies of the slain. And thus came the Zombies. The Skeletons. The ferocity that had grown for years in the hearts of every mob began to manifest, until most would attack a Player on sight. They had learned to fight for their lives or face their death at the tip of a Player's chosen weapon. But not all Players were the same. The mobs just didn't know that yet.

In L'Manburg, there exists a virus. A virus known for obliterating every server it is sent into, every computer it touches. One of the oldest viruses out there, hackers claim it is impossible to eliminate, and many have tried. Many more have taken the virus and used it against their enemies, against corporations and governments, against fellow hackers and spies. No matter where it is sent, no matter who it targets, the virus known as The Blade leaves nothing behind. One hacker has not yet been tested against it. Ph1LzA Min3crAft has spent many years in the computer world, learning its language and all the delicate intricacies of its functions. In this open, strange world of ones and zeroes, of precise commands and exacting standards, Ph1LzA is regarded as king. So when the virus resurfaces, he is called in to destroy it once and for all. But Ph1LzA doesn't work like other hackers. He's more curious, more interested in learning why the virus is out here in the first place, why it too behaves differently than any other piece of code he's ever seen. Why it almost seems alive...

Farm life is usually peaceful. There are animals to tend, gardens to cultivate, maintenance to keep up...it's a full life. But peaceful. Philza and Kristin Minecraft thought they were satisfied. And yet. The arrival of a strange, carrot-obsessed child gave their lives new meaning. He gave them something greater to look forward to, something deeper to understand about what familial love meant. He was the greatest gift they could have received. And he brought trouble behind him. When Smiles in the dark, Fire in the forest, and Cards on the table all come seeking the Rabbit hybrid, they laugh upon seeing the small farm and feel assured there will be no one left alive when dawn comes. Philza Minecraft is not so easily underestimated, however, and he has a family to protect. No matter the cost, no matter the pain or price, he will keep his child and his wife safe from the monsters that have emerged to claim them all. Despite the somewhat grim promise in the second half of this description, this is a fluff story. Because I want to be a nice Author this time. This second time, that is. So do not walk in deceived, for there will be little sorrow comparatively.
